This combination leads to the overstimulation of CB1 receptors so your brain reacts by reducing the number of this type of receptor.[2] This makes the mood imbalance worse. Your nervous system uses dopamine to send messages between cells and it’s an important part of how we feel pleasure and happiness. CBD has been linked to dopamine in some studies.
